Nilon Carpentry and Construction specialise in renovations, bathroom and kitchens, extensions, structural repairs and general maintenance.

Dave Nilon, the business owner and manager, is a qualified carpenter with a wide range of experience and capabilities, from steel welding to project management. We have established sub contractor and trade relationships to make the project run smoothly. 

Dave is a qualified carpenter, joiner, shop fitter and stair builder by trade which was completed in 2001 after a four year apprenticeship in regional Victoria (Bendigo). After a couple of years working on houses building frames, trusses and second fix carpentry, Dave moved to Darwin in 2003. Since then, Dave has gained a broad range of experience from kitchen installation, small to large scale commercial projects and major house renovations. In 2014, Dave became a registered builder.

Local building and renovations

As a business, we have a very good background in renovating and extending Top End houses, from a kitchen or bathroom renovation to a custom carport or adding some extra rooms to a house, Nilon Carpentry and Constructions has the project covered. 

Dave’s experience in project management ensures that the project is coordinated from start to finish, with a focus on being honest with clients through regular communication. 

We also have long term relationships with all of our sub contractors, including architects, plumbers, electricians, plasterers, air conditioning installers and painters.

We are renowned for our expertise in local Darwin construction including steel work and working on pre & post cyclone Tracey houses
